Everybody who said they're coming has paid up. So we'll have 90 people or so at this holiday bash. Since I trust you can recall which entrée you chose (Deep in December, It's nice to remember, The dinner you asked for in September)* I won't repeat the menu. But here's the other stuff:

• Doors open: 5:00

• Food: 6:00

• Nino Folino, A.K.A Frank Sinatra: 7ish

• Beer and Soda free. Drinks with booze: 1/2 price. Thank you again Joe!

• Enter on Superior Street or, if you want to feel a pang of nostalgia, go to the door on Russell, knock 3 times and say, "Joe sent me." (If you think that'll get you busted, just knock, you'll be let in)

• Crank up that nostalgia: the mirror ball will be turning!

What a wonderful evening--food, friends, camaraderie, entertainment, nostalgia--and, we believe, the permanent return of a great Garibaldi tradition. Just like that weight gain, anyone not having a good time that night ain't trying. Lookin' to see you all.

What a way to begin a month! You're probably just returning to gastronomic normality (after last Thursday's big feast) when, lo and behold, more food--sandwiches (not turkey) and fixins after the meeting.
